We are seeking an exceptional Production Floor Manager to oversee our factory operations in Roscommon, driving quality, efficiency, and team excellence.

The Role:

As the Production Floor Manager, you will take full ownership of the factory floor-from the initial machining and wood finishing to final assembly and dispatch. This isn't just a supervisory role; it's a strategic leadership position designed to optimise output and uphold the premium standards our clients expect.

Key Responsibilities:

Synchronize machining and wood finishing with assembly and delivery schedules.
Drive productivity and rigorous quality control across all production stages.
Assembly & Team Management
Lead and mentor a team of 8-10 kitchen assemblers.
Optimize floor layouts and introduce efficient assembly methods to boost productivity.
Conduct performance reviews, identify training needs, and manage labour-to-output ratios.
Logistics, Dispatch & Reworks
Plan assembly schedules one week in advance to ensure "ready-to-go" status for all deliveries.
Collaborate with the Logistics Lead and Fitting Supervisor to minimize snags and reworks.
Ensure all cabinetry is 100% complete and quality-checked before leaving the floor.
General Site Leadership
Act as the primary point of contact for all factory floor operations.
Manage a total workflow involving approximately 25 staff across machining, benches, and logistics.
Lead by delegation:
Empower your team to deliver while maintaining site standards and safety.

Who We're Looking For
We need a leader who understands the "nuts and bolts" of kitchen manufacturing but excels in high-level coordination.

Experience:
Proven track record managing a joinery, furniture, or kitchen production environment.

Skills:
Strong delegation skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
Technical Knowledge:
Familiarity with CNCs, edge banders, and spray systems is highly advantageous.
Methodology:
Practical experience applying Lean manufacturing or similar improvement frameworks.
Communication:
Confident using digital systems, email, and reporting tools.
