With over 17 years of experience in the construction industry, Charles has worked across rail, cladding, and construction equipment manufacturing for a global OEM. Having spent time in both small, owner-managed firms and large multinational corporations, Charles brings a well-rounded understanding of how businesses operate and what makes them thrive.
Before joining the construction recruitment sector, Charles built a successful career in finance within construction-focused companies, gaining a deep appreciation for the industry’s challenges and the people who drive it forward. This made the move into recruitment a natural next step, blending sector knowledge with a passion for people and business improvement.
A qualified AAT and CIMA professional, Charles leads with a grounded, hands-on approach. Charles believes in creating a supportive culture where everyone feels valued and where collaboration and accountability go hand in hand. Known for being approachable and team-focused, Charles takes pride in helping others grow and ensuring the finance function adds real value to the business.
Outside of work, Charles is a lifelong Liverpool FC supporter and a former semi-professional goalkeeper, a background that helped shape Charles teamwork, discipline, and resilience. Away from the office, Charles enjoys collecting retro video games and consoles and spending time with his eight dogs. Above all, family is their greatest source of inspiration.
